Ardtoe Marine Laboratory is probably the only seaweed commercial hatchery in European Union.
We are able to select our breeding stock and cultivate a broad range of seaweeds to meet your requirements.
Our team has always a high control on the balance between temperature, irradiance and photoperiode to keep all natural properties of our seaweed.

But why cultivate seaweed instead of harvesting wild stock?
Simply because cultivating seaweed avoid to disturbing natural environment. Seaweed providing a shelter for fish fry and to living creatures which are parts of the food chain.
But also help to balance the sea acidity by acting as biofilter.
So cultivating seaweed is just the most eco friendly way to provide seaweeds.
